Their task is to bring content, objectives and participants’ expectations together, designing a programme that is effective, engaging and conducive towards the organizational objectives. They work for the Meeting Owner and often partner up with PCO’s, AV Companies, Speakers and Facilitators. Their final consumers are the meeting participants. Their clients’ desires are the design compass by which they sail.
Meeting Design Week will be a week of innovation in business and education where Meeting Design is introduced. Professionals will benefit from Meeting Design Techniques and will be encouraged to identify, educate and foster Meeting Design talent. There will also be a number of networking opportunities between creative talents in businesses, the university and independent professionals.
All of this activity during Meeting Design Week will also support the local economy through supporting the delivery of a higher quality of meetings, resulting in better ideas, more effective coordination and more engagement in education.
The Meeting Design certification Level 1 two-day course will be open to professionals like meeting planners, trainers, consultants, corporate communication managers, live communication designers. They will have the opportunity to dive deep into the nature of meetings, and how to design them.
The Meeting Design Week offers the opportunity to apply Meeting Design on an actual event that is on the agenda in the city. This Meeting Design Kick-Off meeting is open for corporate organising teams. The team will identify all the parameters needed to create a great program.
Meeting Design techniques help to create engaging educational sessions. In the Meeting Design Week, a University will host a novel Lesson Design workshop for academic teachers. In the workshop, the attendees will redesign a lesson following the innovative methodology of the MindMeeting Keycards.
A closing network event brings meeting planners, academics and corporates together, to embrace design thinking and empower the creative potential of a city.
Since launching in 2018, Meeting Design Week has expanded to more than 10 cities worldwide. The events we organised by our team in Dubai, Taipei, Helsinki, Quito, Amsterdam, Milano, Guayaquil, Torino, Lloret de Mar, Taichung, Leeuwarden.
